"I can recommend Eyes on Nature Expeditions safaris to anyone who wants to experience "the African Adventure", the luxury of the lodges, the beauty of the country, the people and above all a guide who will explain everything about the animals and their behaviour. They  made our trip a wonderful experience".

Samburu Lodge- Samburu

Samburu Lodge was opened in July 13, 1963, and is set in a rugged landscape with a backdrop of jagged mountains and its own indigenous wildlife unique to the region. The landscape, wildlife and vegetation are very different to the lush rolling grasslands of other parks. Samburu is a place for leopard, lion, elephant and crocodile. It is the place of the semi-nomadic Samburu people. A place of thorn bush open plains and vast horizons. It gives you a taste of the romance of the African desert. Beautifully situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, everything at Samburu is geared to making the most of the lodge's spectacular setting.

Samburu Lodge has 60 Rooms. It offers a choice of accommodation spread up and down the banks, the river in cottages, bandas and single or twin rooms. All rooms are complete with a four-poster mosquito net.

In-Room Amenities: Electric socket, 24-hour room service is available.
