 13 DAYS 12 NIGHTS

MAASAI MARA/NAIVASHA/NAKURU/MT.KENYA/AMBOSELI/TSAVO WEST/TSAVO EAST/NAIROBI OR MOMBASA

 Day 1: Nairobi  - Maasai Mara

0830 hours: Leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en-route. On arrival proceeds to the campsite/lodge. After a short rest, proceed to a game drive in search of Black Manned Lions, elephants, Leopards, Cheetah, Buffalos and other plain’s game. Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

06.30 hrs: After break fast, proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to camp/lodge for lunch at 16.00hrs. After lunch, a further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge. Or you can have a whole day game viewing carrying with you a packed lunch.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Full day game viewing in the Mara with an option of nature walks or visits to a nearby Maasai village in between the meals break. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge. (Maasai village visit a available at extra cost. The optional activities require prior arrangements with the driver /guides as regards the fee to be paid.

Day 4. Maasai Mara/ Naivasha

After breakfast, leave for Lake Naivasha. After lunch, visit Hells Gate national Park and the geothermal power station. Proceed for dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha/ Lake Nakuru

Leave after breakfast and drive to the home of million of flamingoes and the home of the white and black rhino and about 350 different species of birds. It is also known as: Ornithological paradise. Dinner and overnight at  hotel/lodge

Day 6: Lake Nakuru / Bongoria / Baringo

After breakfast drive to Bongoria where the hot water springs abound and plenty of medicinal springs. After lunch, visit Lake Baringo.Dinner and Overnight at camp/hotel/lodge in Baringo.

Day 7 Samburu

After breakfast leave for Samburu via Thompson falls. Lunch en route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the campsite/lodge.

Day 8. Samburu

After breakfast, depart for an early morning in game drive. Return to the camp/lodge for lunch. 16.00 hrs another game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite/lodge.

Day 9 Samburu – Mt. Kenya

After breakfast, leave Samburu for Mount Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving in time for lunch. After, visit the Mau Mau caves (where Kenyan Freedom Fighters could hide for the British troops during the struggle for independence). Dinner and overnight at a campsite/lodge.

Day 10 Mt. Kenya – Amboseli via Nairobi

 After breakfast,drive past the biggest open air- market in East and central Africa(Karatina).Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. After lunch,proceed to Namanga border near Tazania,arriving in Amboseli late afternoon.An evening game viewing  drive .Dinner and overnight at the campsite/lodge.

Day 11: Amboseli

Early morning game drive before breakfast.After breakfast have a whole day game viewing.Optional:

-Maasai village visit

-Nature walk

-Swimming in one of the lodges(All at extra cost) return for Dinner and overnight at the campsite/lodge.       

Day 12 Tsavo West – Tsavo East.

After break fast, drive to Tsavo East which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating Lions (during the building of the Kenya -Uganda Railway in 1890). Lunch on arrival. Game drive. Dinner and over night at the campsite/lodge

Day 13: leave Tsavo East either to Mombasa or Nairobi
