Maasai Mara / Amboseli / Tsavo / Mombasa

Day 1 Nairobi/Maasai Mara
Drive to Maasai Mara after arrival in Nairobi. The drive takes four hours, taking you through the scenic escarpments of the Rift Valley. Check in at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy a full afternoon game drive and be back to Mara serena Lodge in the evening for dinner.

Day 2 Full day in Maasai Mara
Have a full day game viewing in Maasai Mara with an early morning, mid morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, Maasai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains divided by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests. During the seasonal migrations, Maasai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebra that move into the area from neighboring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The reserve is home to all the big five and it is also possible to observe; baboon, eland, ostrich, bat-eared fox, jackal, Cheetah, and the rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 3 Maasai Mara/Amboseli
Be ready in the morning for a long drive to Amboseli National Park, with a stop over at the famous Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi for lunch. After lunch embark on a scenic drive through the Athi plains for two hours then enter Amboseli through Namanga. From here you will view game until you reach Amboseli Serena Lodge. From the lodge you will have a good view of the towering Mt Kilimanjaro on the Kenya Tanzania border. Have Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Full day in Amboseli

Have a morning game drive after breakfast and get back to the hotel in time for lunch. Expect herds of elephants, giraffe, Cape buffalo and the rhino. After lunch embark on an afternoon game drive and be back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Amboseli/Tsavo
This days adventure leads to Kilaguni Serena lodge, the first ever lodge to be built in a national park in Kenya. This is Tsavo National Park - second largest park in Kenya. On the way view the spectacular Shetani lava flow, reminder of the molten lava outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and thereafter embark on an afternoon game drive. Here you will spot game particularly Tsavo's elephants, coloured red by the Tsavo soil. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena lodge.

Day 5 Tsavo West / Mombasa Sun N Sand Beach Resort
After breakfast drive from Tsavo to Kenyas coastal town of Mombasa. The drive takes three hours until you reach Sun N Sand Beach resort in time for lunch. The resort offers maximum relaxation after five days of travel and game viewing in the parks. Stay at the resort for five nights to get the real luxury of the Kenya coast, enjoying beach walking and water surfing, evening musical performances by local cultural groups and swimming in any of the resorts five swimming pools. Kenya has a fine unpolluted beach.

Days 6 -10
All five days at Sun N Sand Beach Resort.

Day 11 Mombasa/Nairobi
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi. Have your packed lunch at Mtito Andei, a town midway between Nairobi and Mombasa. The town is historically famous for the man eating lions that caused havoc during the construction of the Nairobi Mombasa railway. Be in Nairobi in the evening to take a flight home.
