Bedouin Camp
-Samburu
Bedouin Camp is on the white sandy banks of
the Ewaso Ngiro River in the shade of giant
river acacias. 100,000 acres of pristine
wilderness with 25 kilometres of riverfront
where the graceful elephant come for their
daily drink and wallow. The Northern
Frontier District of Kenya is an area of
staggering beauty.
The rugged splendour of its landscape
conjures up an atmosphere of mystery and
adventure, and the sunsets on the ancient
mountain ranges glow with orange, red and
purple.
It is a vast and seldom-visited region, far
from the normal tourist routes, where
travelling, even nowadays is tough and where
nomadic tribes have changed little over the
centuries.
