Mt.
Mere in Arusha
National
Park
has an
attitude
of 4566m
and is the
second
highest Mountain in
Tanzania.
This
mountain is
dormant
volcano
and
it
offers a
magnificent view
of
the
imposing
Mt.
Kilimanjaro
and
the
secular
Rift valley
for
visitors
who climb
Mt.
Meru.
Also
the
are
hosts
very
big
variety of
species of birds
both
resident and
migrant,
the best
months
are
September
and
April
for
the
migrant
birds
to be seen.
Day 01:
Transfers
to Momella
gate (alt.
2100m) for
the
registration of the climbing, thereafter
start
climbing
up
to
Mariamkamba
hut
( alt.
2541m) for
dinner and
overnight.
Day 02:
After morning
breakfast,star climbing
to
the
big
valley
then to
saddle hut (alt. 3570m) later
back
to
saddle hut
for dinner and overnight.
A hike up
to the
little
Mt Meru is
done in the late after noon hours.
Day 03:
After
morning breakfast,final
ascent to
the Mt Meru peak (alt. 4566m) descend
down to saddle hut then to
Mariamkamba hut for
dinner and overnight.
Day 04;
After breakfast in
the morning,walk
slowly to
Momella
gate,
arrival
time
by10.30 a.m
and
transfers
to Arusha Hotel
for lunch , freshing up and
resting.Afternoon journey back to Nairobi
via Namanga border to your Nairobi Hotel
where your tour ends….
