For those who know Zanzibar, the Sultan Sands Island Resort stands where, until 2006, the La Villa Beach Club stood – then a standard 20 roomed hotel right next to Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa. Beyt al Chai: 
For those who want to experience the charm of a classic African setting with a touch of ancient Arabian mystique, the place is Beyt al Chai. This is an exquisite, exclusive, 6-room luxurious traditional Zanzibar house, built on 3 floors on what was once a tea house.

It is, naturally, located in the famous Kelele Square at the heart of Zanzibar’s renown Stone Town, giving visitors the chance to soak up the ambiance of this World heritage site only steps away from the shops, restaurants and attractions the town has to offer.
