RATES
Rates include oil and maintenance 16% VAT,
Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection
Waiver—Excludes Excess Liability Waiver and
Fuel.
CHAUFFER / GUIDE
Fully trained Chauffeur/ Guide at $20 per
day.
Insurance
Third Party Insurance and property damage as
well as legal liability cover for passengers
are included in the rates. Loss of tires and
tools are not covered by insurance.
TANZANIA
By prior arrangement vehicles hired in Kenya
may be driven into Tanzania. Additional
costs of $230 for documentation (licenses,
insurance, permit, etc.) Chauffeur driven
extra $35 per day. For further information
contact the Managing Director.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The hirer and/or authorized must have held a
full and valid driver’s license for a
minimum of 2 years up to and including the
time of hire and driving license must bear
no current endorsement during the last two
years. A driving license from the country of
residence or any international driver permit
is generally acceptable, provided valid as
above. Where regulations require a local
permit our office will give immediate
assistance.
DEPOSIT
Full payment for the period of hire and for
the estimated distance is to be made when
taking over the car.
DRIVER’S AGE
The hirer or authorized driver must be over
23 years of age and under 70 years of age.
The hirer or authorized driver must also be
in possession of proper means of
identification other than a driving license.
Self drive cars are hired subject to the
company’s standard form of agreement.
Notwithstanding the above condition , the
company reserves the right to refuse a hire.
NON WAIVER RESPONSIBILITY
The damage to the vehicle or loss (due to
theft) can be waived on payment of CDW & TPW,
except in all instances the customer is
liable for the US$1200 in the event of
damage or theft.
EXCESS LIABILITY WAIVER
The option is available to cover NON-WAIVER
RESPONSIBILITY. Loss of Tools, tires and
Radio Cassette are not covered by CDW, TPW.
CAUTION
Vehicles under Group A, B & C are not
suitable to use on un-surfaced roads in
national parks & game reserves. The renter
will be charged for all damages, repairs and
towing costs resulting from the use of such
roads including damaged rims and tires.
Please ensure vehicles are parked in a
secure place and locked.
